Many of the graphic elements were created specifically for Instagram posts, and designed in Illustrator. Patterns and textures are always part of the Logo Package/Graphic Library that is released at the end of each branding project.
The On This Day in Jewish History Instagram is a crucial part of their brand, as this is the main place for viewer engagement. We designed post templates and uploaded custom graphics to create a unified feed that is easy to navigate and preview.
Meyer and Isaac started On This Day in Jewish History as a way to make the rich and captivating Jewish history shareable and accessible. Though they had a logo (in need of a revamp), their platform lacked a full visual identity. Together, we refreshed the former logo and built out a brand of patterns, textures, social styles, and logo variations to be incorporated in print and online.
Shortly following our branding project, @Aish.com asked to partner with On This Day in Jewish History, collaborating on educational posts for their massive platform (Over 85k followers). Posts designed by Colorway were also featured on Aish.com.
We used an expanded color palette for the collaboration with Aish, and used a combination of custom graphics drawn in Illustrator, and Canva’s built in elements.
